A few short months ago a friend of mine had the great idea that we should book ourselves a little European break. Three days before we were due to go,., my friend called me and said that she would not be able to come. Apparently her money funds were too low. I was gutted and a bit annoyed that she had not thought about budgeting sooner. I asked my other friends if they would like to come instead but they could not get the time off work. I was about to resign myself to not going but then I had an idea. Why not go on my own? I admitted I was a little frightened but why not give it a go.
